What is a safe age to begin letting a child use an adult size pillow (reg. size) on their bed?
Same as above both of my children moved into toddler beds at 1 (new beds for first birthdays) and big girl/boy pillows, I mean do what gives you the best gut feeling you know your child better than anyone who’s going to give you an answer on here :0) I say once they are mobile and can control themselves decently its safe.
I would recommend a safer pillowcase than the normal though maybe one that zips vs: just an opening, my son got himself stuck in the pillowcase one night, it was pretty scary for us and him, not common I am sure though, just a thought because it happened to me. He wasn’t skilled enough at that age to get out of the pillowcase, how he got into it sleeping I will never know but he was really out of breath. So … Pillow Safe, watch out for the pillowcases until they are a bit older (just my opinion though) :0)
