What is An “Eight Ball” Of Cocaine?
I was sent to AA for underage drinking. This guy in the meeting always says he wishes he had an “eight ball of cocaine” What is that??
Why did so many people answer? lol
If you’re going to respond, at least add something to the pot.
Yeah, it’s approx. an eighth of an ounce…3.5 grams.
The price of such a quantity will vary from region to region. Here in South Florida, a “ball” will run you anywhere from $125-$200.
The advantage to purchasing in this quantity is that most peddlers will offer the “eight ball” at such a price that often, a half-gram of the cocaine is “discounted” (e.g. Someone who sells the gram quantity for $50/gram may offer a “ball” for only $150, whereas 3.5 grams purchased individually would cost $175)
As a helpful tip: When speaking of larger quantities, don’t sound foolish by saying “I want two eight balls”, etc. Two eighths of anything is a quarter, hence you’d say “I want a quarter”.
